Brief: To encode and stream the Pavers TV channel over the internet
BigStream simulcasts the Pavers TV satellite television channel 24/7/365 over the internet. The channel is captured off air at our downlink centre in Kent and delivered via dedicated data circuits to BigStream’s streaming platform in Canary Wharf.
The stream is encoded into Flash and streamed at an adaptive bitrate of 300-750kbps, depending on the individual user’s internet conection.. BigStream worked closely with the client’s website team to integrate the media player into their website and gave the client access to an online statistics tool providing a comprehensive range of statistical data.
