Digital Rights Management

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a collection of technologies that can be used to protect and control access to online audio and video.

DRM enables clients to ensure secure distribution of digital media content. You can control who has the permission to access your content and ensure the integrity of your copyrights regardless of how widely distributed the content is.

DRM rules can be set up to determine such processes as whether content must be paid for, how it is paid for, how frequently it can be viewed, and so on. Typically, DRM technologies, including licensing and encryption, are used in conjunction with e-commerce solutions such as Pay Per View or Subscription.

BigStream can provide a variety of DRM technologies, including Microsoft Windows Media DRM, and will recommend a specific approach based on the particular requirements of the client.
